Happy Thanksgiving

As time is spent with loved ones this week, remember to keep food safety top of the list.


Here are a few tips to help prevent food poisoning:

  • Do not wash the turkey. Washing items such as turkey can spread more germs around the kitchen

  • Do wash hands after handle raw meats. Dirty hands can spread germs

  • Do not cross contaminate. Clean and sanitize all work surfaces

  • Do ensure all parts of the turkey are cooked to 165F

  • Use a tip sensitive thermometer

  • What Cooking Temperature?

  • Do not leave foods out for more than 2 hours.
